Roadtrip · People · Places · Stories is a configurable platform for families, groups and travel organisers to plan, document and share their own road trips. Routes, stages, countries, accommodation, costs, weather, media and updates are connected in one place.
The currently visible journey from 18 to 28 October 2026 through Italy and the Balkans is a demo instance showing what a concrete trip can look like. The platform is designed as a future SaaS product: users will be able to create their own journey, add their own content and share it with others while travelling.
Challenge
A single travel journal needed to become a reusable product: every new journey needs its own places, stages, media, costs and updates without losing the platform’s clear structure.
Solution
The demo journey uses the same building blocks that can later be configured for any user journey: public stories and a gallery on one side, planning, status, costs, weather and live updates on the other.
